Rifts opened at Turn 35, Turn 62, Turn 92, and 120ish for me but this could be different every time. Once they spawn, Rifts stay on the map for 15 turns unless closed by your armies or your heroes or by the AI. That icon tells you how many turns you have until the Rifts disappear from the map. This is your warning to prepare for the rifts to open within a few turns, maybe as many as 5ish?Ī little rift icon pops up in the middle of the top bar when the Rifts appear, which a number below it. Also, the recovery time from "Replace Lord" is 5 turns, even if you are Kostaltyn with the -2 wound recovery time trait.Īt the beginning of a turn, the advisor will pop up a screen warning you that Ursun can be heard rumbling. HOWEVER, once your Legendary Lord has made the jump to the desire location, you can replace them using "Replace Lord" and have a generic lord do everything they can do, including the Survival Battles and the Final Battle! Just be careful if you jump to Cathay and swap in a new lord, because they won't be able to jump back, and it is a long walk home.
